Music - Messenger to My Soul
Since I was a small child and sat on my Grandpa's knee as he played the piano I knew music was a messenger to my soul. Granpa was not only a musician he was also a poet and songwriter. Although all of his work has been lost it remains in my heart.
I believe it is through creating we can make contact with the many dimensions of our world.
I have been so very fortunate to meet many songwriter and muscians in my life.
Many with a mission... to send their message to the world. Enjoy.
This UNESCO-endorsed "New Songs for Peace" project is intended to encourage people to think about peace, talk about peace, and write a new song that we will collect and self-publish in a book. Widely known for his friendly concerts, funny stories and warm, goodwill onstage, in the 1990s, Michael took his performing in a new direction and began hosting weekend retreats called "A Gathering of Friends" using his music to bring people together in friendship, laughter and goodwill to a rustic village on the Olympic Peninsula. It was a fulfilling time and many of his new songs came directly from that time of communion and soul searching.

This young Canadian Band touches my heart in a very deep way. For me it is an example of how support from family and friends combined with never quitting your dreams can bring success.
I have watched one of the musicians in this group since childhood. The passion and dedication to music even as a young child was amazing and I am so full of gratitude that I could witness the progress from amazing child to truely amazing adult.
