Do you have a symbol, animal, logo or specific cultural reference you would like painted on your drum? Working together we can design your one of a kind drum. All Drums are hand painted mostly by myself. Other artisits skilled in a specific culture also paint drums. for example: A northwest coast artist may paint a northwest coast design.
The drums may be painted in oils, acrylics or pen & ink.
Prices vary according to design and artist.
Drum Making Workshops - Ongoing in North Vancouver, BC Call for your space.
Groups: I am available to travel to conduct drum making and rattle making workshops. My fee is the price of the drum plus travel, accommodation and meals. The workshop includes the teachings around the drum as taught by elders from British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan.
Unfortunately some countries will not allow me to bring the hides so other arrangements need to be made. The frames are not an issue.
